Make is about challenging conventions, questioning the ways that things around us are made and are fervent supporters of the Maker Movement.
We’re pleased to be able to share the equipment, expertise and experience of our community in the form of our wood workshop with you!
The Make membership provides access to our communal wood workshop in our North Docks studio. The workshop is a space for you to use different tools and equipment, including those that won’t fit into your shed! It is a place where you can experiment with new ideas, projects, DIY, and business ventures.
The wood workshop features mitre saws, bandsaws, jigsaws, pillar drills, disc sanders, palm sanders, router tables, drills, hammers, files, and lots more! You’ll be fully inducted on all the machines so that you can independently work on your personal projects whilst feeling safe and confident.
Whether you’re a seasoned woodworker or want to pursue a new hobby, this membership offer is for you!

With an induction, residents from all of our hubs also have access to the workshop.
