DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\n\n\nThe summer season is fast approaching and we are excited to be running our Summer Arkade on Sunday 21st August 2022. Visitors to this summer shopping event can expect an abundance of independent stall holders\, summery cocktails\, tasty food\, activities for the whole family\, themed craft workshops and of course music and entertainment throughout the whole day. \n\n\n\n\n\nMake CIC and Invisible Wind Factory are collaborating once more to bring you Liverpool’s most unique and alternative summer shopping celebration. \nCraft workshops\, stall holders and food vendors to be announced soon!!! \nIf you’d like a stall at The Summer Arkade please apply here \n\n\n\n\n\nFAQs \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nOn street parking is free but limited to 2 hours so vehicle drivers will need a permit for street parking. \nPublic transport links are nearby\, and the venue is easily accessible on foot from Liverpool City Centre (see our website for more information\, we’re located at Make North Docks). \nHow accessible is the venue? \nThe arkade is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to both premises including toilet provisions. \nWhere can I contact the organiser with any questions? \nFeel free to get in touch with the Make CIC office at 0151 601 8665 or email hello@makecic.org \nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? \nNo\, it isn’t necessary to print your ticket. \nThe name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? \nYes that is fine! \nWill there be food & drink available at the arkade? \nThere will be a variety of food options available including Invisiburger at the Invisible Wind Factory \, Caffe Riccardo at Make and other food vendor options. Both venues also have licensed bars. \nCan I bring my dog along? \nWell behaved dogs allowed as long as they are on a lead. The owner must take full responsibility and pick up after your dog. Your furry pal must be supervised at all times and must not be deemed as dangerous.

DESCRIPTION:Learn how to transform plain terracotta pots into something fun that will make people smile! \n\n\nAbout this event \n\n\n\nRachel from the Quirky Design Company will be at Make North Docks for the Summer Arkade this August\, running her popular “Pun Pots” workshop! \nLearn how to use fun and bold colours to create something unique for your home! \n \nAs well as using bold colours\, you will also be using fun stencils and vinyl’s to create some eye catching designs and funny puns. \nAll materials will be provided\, just bring yourself! \n \nFAQs \nWhat is the Summer Arkade? \nThe Summer Arkade is a free makers market hosted by make CIC and Invisible wind Factory. Visitors to this summer shopping event can expect an abundance of independent stall holders\, summery cocktails\, tasty food\, activities for the whole family\, themed craft workshops and of course music and entertainment throughout the whole day. More info here \nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? \nAny child under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and we operate a no under 5’s policy. \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nOn street parking is free but limited to 2 hours so vehicle drivers will need a permit for street parking. We would advise wheelchair users to contact the workshop provider on the sale of the ticket to arrange a parking bay. \nWhere can I contact the organiser with any questions? \nFeel free to get in touch with the Make CIC office at 0151 601 8665 or email hello@makecic.org \nIs my registration/ticket transferrable? \nIf you find that you cannot attend then you are welcome to pass your place on to a friend who may find it useful. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. \nAlternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event. \nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? \nNo\, a register will be taken at the workshop\, it isn’t necessary to print your ticket. \nWhat is the refund/cancellation policy? \nRefunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled – in this instance we will give as much notice as possible\, usually at least 5 days\, and offer alternative dates if appropriate. \nThis class does have a minimum requirement of ticket sales to proceed\, so there is a possibility of it being cancelled\, but we will contact you five days before if this is the case. \nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop. \nThis is because we pay our practitioners fair wages for their work- giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the preparation they have put into their classes. \n*Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given* \nThe name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? \nPlease bring along a print out of your ticket if the registration does not match the attendee\, or contact hello@makecic.org to have them change the ticket so it contains your name. \nWhat can I bring into the event? \nYou don’t need to bring anything but yourself. All materials are provided and we also have a cafe on site selling coffee\, tea and delicious lunches/ snacks. Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to bring along a drink or a snack if you prefer.
