SUMMARY:Drink & Draw @ Make On The Corner
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly life drawing class at Make On The Corner and have fun doodling and sketching in a relaxed setting. Held at Make CIC’s cozy event space\, located right on the high street in Huyton Village\, sessions include a cheeseboard and complimentary glass of wine to help you feel at ease. \nOpen to anyone 16 and over\, regardless of experience level\, this untaught session welcomes both beginners and seasoned artists. \nBring your preferred materials\, from charcoal to biro\, and enjoy a chilled-out environment for practice. \nArrive at 5:45pm to chat and secure a spot\, with a 30-minute break halfway through. \nPlease observe standard life drawing etiquette to ensure a comfortable experience for our model. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event will be taking place at Make On The Corner\, Make CIC’s bespoke event and workshop space located in the heart of Huyton Village. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrequently asked questions\n\n\n\n\n\nAre there ID or minimum age requirements for this class?\n\n\n\n\nThe class is for people ages 16+. A none alcoholic beverage will be offered to those under 18 . \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\n\n\n\n\nThere is cycle storage available at the venue. Huyton Bus and Train stations are a short walk from the venue (3 – 7 minutes). Free parking (suspended parking) is available at Knowsley Council carparks at Lathom Road multi-storey car park\, Archway Road and Huyton Hey. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow accessible is the venue?\n\n\n\n\nThe venue is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises. Ground floor accessible toilet provisions are also available. \n\n\n\n\n\nI have dietary requirements – what should I do?\n\n\n\n\nPlease let us know of any dietary requirement when registering. We are able to supply vegan cheese and offer a gluten free option – however we are not an allergen free restaurant and cannot ensure that cross contamination will never occur. Please contact us if you have any questions. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhere can I contact the organiser with any questions?\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to get in touch with the Make CIC office at 0151 601 8665 or email hello@makecic.org \n\n\n\n\n\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?\n\n\n\n\nNo\, a register will be taken at the workshop\, it isn’t necessary to print your ticket. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?\n\n\n\n\nPlease bring along a print out of your ticket if the registration does not match the attendee\, or contact hello@makecic.org to have them change the ticket so it contains your name. \n\n\n\n\n\nIs my registration/ticket transferrable?\n\n\n\n\nIf you find that you cannot attend then you are welcome to pass your place on to a friend who may find it useful. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if Make CIC cancel the event?\n\n\n\n\nThis event does have a minimum requirement of ticket sales to proceed. Refunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled – in this instance we will give as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates if appropriate. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I can no longer attend and need to cancel my ticket?\n\n\n\n\nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop. Please note: Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhy is the Refund/ Transfer Policy 7 days?\n\n\n\n\nThis is because we pay our practitioners\, staff and life models fair wages for their work. Giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the preparation they have put into their classes.
