In this special session\, you’ll have the chance to recreate the iconic Junior Jewels t-shirt famously worn in a popular music video. \nJoin us for a fun-filled upcycling session where you’ll unleash your creativity on a white t-shirt (provided) following the template of the Junior Jewels design. No sewing required – just your imagination and a dash of swift-inspired flair! \nDuring the session\, you’ll explore various techniques including painting\, drawing\, and writing to bring your Junior Jewels creation to life. From adding your favourite lyrics to incorporating swift-inspired imagery. \nThe fun kicks off with a show-and-tell session featuring a Junior Jewels t-shirt reimagined by our talented instructor\, Bethan. Featuring an array of creative classes\, inspired by one of the biggest stars of the moment\, and in celebration of her three sold-out shows this June in Liverpool. All workshops are part funded and delivered in partnership with Culture Liverpool as part of the Liverpool Loves Taylor programme. \n\n\n\n\nAbout Make CIC \nMake CIC (Community Interest Company) fosters community connections through creativity across the Liverpool City Region. We operate a no under 10 policy. Children under 16 must not be dropped off and left unattended. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\n\n\n\n\nThe Metquarter Shopping Centre is located in Liverpool City Centre and is easily accessible by bus\, train and car. For more information on how to get there\, visit www.metquarter.com. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow accessible is the venue?\n\n\n\n\nThe workshop is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises. Is that okay?\n\n\n\n\nPlease bring along a print out of your ticket if the registration does not match the attendee\, or contact hello@makecic.org to have them change the ticket so it contains your name. \n\n\n\n\n\nIs my registration/ticket transferrable?\n\n\n\n\nIf you find that you cannot attend then you are welcome to pass your place on to a friend who may find it useful. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if Make CIC cancel the event?\n\n\n\n\nFull refunds will be offered in the unlikely event that this workshop is cancelled. We will give as much notice as possible. We cannot be liable for any travel or additional costs. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I can no longer attend and need to cancel my ticket?\n\n\n\n\nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop. Please note: Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhy is the Refund / Transfer Policy 7 days?\n\n\n\n\nThis is because we pay our practitioners\, staff and life models fair wages for their work. Giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the preparation they have put into their classes. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat should I bring into the event?\n\n\n\n\nYou don’t need to bring anything but yourself. DESCRIPTION:Make Huyton Village \nLocated on Derby Road in the heart of Huyton Village Centre\, Make Huyton Village offers private studios and shared workspace in Knowsley. Make Huyton brings a hive of creativity to the town centre with a high tech Innovation Lab\, allowing members of the community to experiment with making and product creation. Make Huyton Village is open 24 hours for all of our residents. \n\n\n\n\nMake Huyton Village Open Days \nInterested in a studio space or just curios about what Make do and how to get involved? Come along for a tour of our newest space Make Huyton Village. \nTours will last 30 to 45 minutes and and begin every hour on the hour (eg. 11:00\, 12:00\, 13:00 and 14:00) at the front of Make Huyton Village\, 47-49 Derby Road\, Huyton\, during open day hours (please check the open day hours for each date as they differ). \nHave a look at our range of studio spaces\, hear about our future plans\, check out our brand new “Innovation Lab” and find out about our upcoming programme. \nYour tour will conclude at Make on the Corner at 22 Derby Road\, our additional space used for events\, meetings\, workshops\, classes\, pop-up shop\, exhibitions\, etc. \nWhether you are a creative looking for a studio to work\, need a space to put an event or class on\, or whether you are just nosey – please register\, come along and join us! \nDogs and children are welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n About your Guide \nYour guide on the open days will be Mia Tagg\, the Project Lead for Make Huyton Village. \nMake’s newest team member\, Mia has twenty years experience working in business start-up and project management in Liverpool and London\, focused on arts and hospitality. \nPrevious projects include the cafe bar at FACT\, Northern Lights for Baltic Creative and Homebaked Anfield. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere is the venue ? \nMake Huyton Village is situated at 47-49 Derby Road\, Huyton which is on the pedestrianised High Street in Huyton Village. The space was formally Boots. \nWhat time does the tour start? \nThe tour around Make Huyton Village takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Each tour starts on the hour (e.g. every 60 minutes).
