DESCRIPTION:Please note: In August 2024\, we are relocating to our new site\, Make Hamilton 2! We’ll no longer be at Make Hamilton Square on Cleveland Street. Our new address is just around the corner at 69-71 Argyle St\, Birkenhead! \nJoin us for a delightful and educational workshop where you’ll create a stunning festive wreath using a diverse selection of plant materials. \nIn this session\, you’ll master the techniques for building a natural wreath and learn how to adorn it with various natural accessories such as cones and dried fruit. You’ll also discover how to craft a bow from leaves. \nCreate a classic\, elegant wreath with spruce\, holly\, ivy\, and a variety of other foliage\, seed pods\, cones\, dried fruit\, and natural decorations. \nAdditional embellishments will be available for purchase if you wish to further enhance your wreath. \nParticipants will receive information sheets with additional tips and guidance on how to care for their wreaths. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the practitioners \nChelsea Gold medallists\, Louise annd Deb love to share their expertise and passions for floral design. As sisters\, they uniquely combine their creative skills to provide innovative floral designs\, and stunning face & body art. Their workshops are for all abilities\, and we ensure all those taking part have fun\, learn new skills have the joy of taking home a beautiful natural wreath to display. Find out more on their website here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrequently asked questions\n\n\n\n\n\nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\n\n\n\n\nAny child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who must also purchase a ticket. We operate a no under 10 policy. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\n\n\n\n\nBy Train: Close to Hamilton Square station\, accessible from Liverpool and Wirral line stations. By Bus: Nearby stops include routes 41\, 216\, 217\, 409\, 410\, 411\, 413\, 414\, 423\, 811. By Car: Nearby pay and display parking is situated off Hamilton Square – this becomes free after 6:30pm. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow accessible is the venue?\n\n\n\n\nThe venue is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises. All materials are provided and we also have a café on site selling coffee\, tea and delicious lunches/ snacks. Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to bring along a drink or a snack if you prefer. \n\n\n\n\n\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?\n\n\n\n\nNo\, a register will be taken at the workshop\, it isn’t necessary to print your ticket. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?\n\n\n\n\nPlease bring along a print out of your ticket if the registration does not match the attendee\, or contact hello@makecic.org to have them change the ticket so it contains your name. \n\n\n\n\n\nIs my registration/ticket transferrable?\n\n\n\n\nIf you find that you cannot attend then you are welcome to pass your place on to a friend who may find it useful. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if Make CIC cancel the workshop?\n\n\n\n\nThis class does have a minimum requirement of ticket sales to proceed. Refunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled – in this instance we will give as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates if appropriate. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I can no longer attend and need to cancel my ticket?\n\n\n\n\nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop. *Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given* \n\n\n\n\n\nWhy is the refund Policy 7 days?\n\n\n\n\nThis is because we pay our practitioners fair wages for their work.
