She studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins Art College where she specialised in illustration. Her work is inspired by everyday life\, from childhood to nature in a Scandinavain folklore style.

DESCRIPTION:Fabric Fairy Lantern workshop\n  \nJoin Imogen\, at Make North Docks for a cosy & relaxing winter workshop creating your very own string of fabric fairy lanterns! \n  \nWhen : Sunday 23rd November\, 11am – 1pm \nWhere: Make North Docks\, 34 Regent Street\, Liverpool\, L3 7BN \n  \nIn this hands-on 2 hour workshop\, you will make a string of 10 fabric fairy lanterns to add a twinkle to your home or gift to a loved one. You’ll learn how to craft a beautiful string of battery-powered fairy lanterns using fabrics\, lampshade PVC and LED lights. Imogen will be supplying an array of gorgeous vintage and modern silk and cotton fabrics\, including Liberty tana lawn fabrics\, and fabrics upcycled from vintage silk scarves and kimono’s\, from which you can choose your own unique selections to create your bespoke set of fairy lanterns. There will also be Christmassy fabrics available for those who wish to make festive fairy lanterns! \nLet your creativity shine as you choose your fabrics and design a unique string of lanterns to light up any space. This in-person event is suitable for age 16+\, so bring your friends and family along for a fun and crafty time. Maximum of ten participants per session. All equipment and materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary. \nIf you wish to make your fairy lanterns more eco-friendly\, there is an option to purchase a rechargeable battery pack with charger at the special price of £8 (plug-in battery charger with 4 x AA Duracell rechargeable batteries) at the checkout when you purchase your ticket\, to power your fairy lanterns for years to come! Owner Imogen Woodings is an AMUSF (Association of Master Upholsterers) trained upholsterer\, skilled in both traditional and modern upholstery\, and was featured in the 2018 book A Celebration of British Craftsmanship. As well as upholsterimng furniture Imogen also teaches beginners upholstery classes\, and makes and sells beautiful handmade lampshades & cushions. \n

DESCRIPTION:Brighten up your March with this relaxing\, guided Yin Yoga class with Lisa Woods! \n\n\n\n\nJoin our Winter Wellness Workshops in Huyton Village to explore creativity\, learn new skills and a delicious lunch is included! \nBrighten up your March with this relaxing\, guided Yin Yoga class to connect with yourself and others in the session. \nAbout the Workshop: \nYin Yoga Class \nLisa Woods is a yoga teacher and holistic therapist dedicated to supporting wellbeing who uses a calm and inclusive space to blend traditional yoga principles with a compassionate\, therapeutic approach. Lisa creates a welcoming space where students can slow down\, listen inwardly\, and nurture both body and mind. \nThis two-hour Yin Yoga class offers a slow\, floor-based practice designed to gently release tension and restore balance in both body and mind. Through longer-held\, passive postures\, you’ll be guided to soften into stillness\, encouraging mobility in the joints and deep relaxation in the muscles. The session concludes with a soothing guided relaxation\, allowing space to fully unwind and absorb the benefits of the practice. Suitable for all levels\, this workshop invites you to pause\, breathe\, and reconnect. \nPlease bring a mat if you have one (there will be a few spare on the day)\, a blanket\, water & cushion/pillow to get comfy and warm.
