DESCRIPTION:Part of the Enterprise Support from Make CIC collection.\n\nThis is the perfect session for anyone looking to get set up their creative business on Instagram. \n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\n\nAre you looking to set up an Instagram account to show off your artist practice or creative business? Have you tried Instagram out\, but you’re not too sure how to use some of it’s functions? This session will cover all the basics to get you set up on Instagram. \nThe session will cover: \n\nGetting set up on Instagram\nContent creation\nPosts v’s stories v’s reels\nBuilding your audience (understanding hashtags and targeting)\nLinking your website and other social media\nScheduling posts\n\nFollowing this session\, you will be able to get your creative business Instagram up and running and understand the fundamental of how to run a brilliant Instagram account. \n— \nAbout the Practitioner: Jo Austin Greer at Marketing with Jo has been working in enterprise support (particularly focussing on creative industries and female entrepreneurs) since 2006. Jo recently completed a 13 year stint as Head of Marketing and Engagement with a charitable and commercial organisation and has supported SME’s\, large corporates\, government officials and third sector organisations to improve their marketing strategy. \n \nAbout the programme: \nThis session is part of a programme of workshops designed to provide tailored support to artists\, makers and creatives living in the Liverpool City Region. Devised by Make CIC and in partnership with Baltic Creative CIC\, each workshop is delivered in person by local expert practitioners who are able to share knowledge and valuable insight on each chosen topic. \nAbout Eligibility: \nThis session is open to individuals living in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool\, Sefton\, Knowsley\, Wirral\, St Helens\, or Halton) only. \nThis session is part of a wider project called Enterprise Hub Skills which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). In order to access this support for free\, all attendees are required to prove their eligibility in line with ESF’s funding requirements.
