DESCRIPTION:Make Huyton Village \nLocated on Derby Road in the heart of Huyton Village Centre\, Make Huyton Village offers private studios and shared workspace in Knowsley. Make Huyton brings a hive of creativity to the town centre with a high tech Innovation Lab\, allowing members of the community to experiment with making and product creation. Make Huyton Village is open 24 hours for all of our residents. \n\n\n\n\nMake Huyton Village Open Days \nInterested in a studio space or just curios about what Make do and how to get involved? Come along for a tour of our newest space Make Huyton Village. \nTours will last 30 to 45 minutes and and begin every hour on the hour (eg. 11:00\, 12:00\, 13:00 and 14:00) at the front of Make Huyton Village\, 47-49 Derby Road\, Huyton\, during open day hours (please check the open day hours for each date as they differ). \nHave a look at our range of studio spaces\, hear about our future plans\, check out our brand new “Innovation Lab” and find out about our upcoming programme. \nYour tour will conclude at Make on the Corner at 22 Derby Road\, our additional space used for events\, meetings\, workshops\, classes\, pop-up shop\, exhibitions\, etc. \nWhether you are a creative looking for a studio to work\, need a space to put an event or class on\, or whether you are just nosey – please register\, come along and join us! \nDogs and children are welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA bout your Guide \nYour guide on the open days will be Mia Tagg\, the Project Lead for Make Huyton Village. \nMake’s newest team member\, Mia has twenty years experience working in business start-up and project management in Liverpool and London\, focused on arts and hospitality. \nP revious projects include the cafe bar at FACT\, Northern Lights for Baltic Creative and Homebaked Anfield. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nW here is the venue ? \nM ake Huyton Village is situated at 47-49 Derby Road\, Huyton which is on the pedestrianised High Street in Huyton Village. The space was formally Boots. \nW hat time does the tour start? \nThe tour around Make Huyton Village takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Each tour starts on the hour (e.g. every 60 minutes). If you need to get in touch on the day\, please call or message Mia on 07492708827. \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \n\nBy Bike: There is secure bike storage at the venue.\nBy Train: The nearest train station to the venue is Huyton train station. The station is a 6 minute walk from the venue – You can view directions via google maps here.\nBy Bus: Huyton Bus station is situated a 3 minute walk from the venue. You can view directions via google maps here.\nBy Car: There is free car parking for up to 3 hours situated in Archway Road Address: Archway Road Car Park\, Civic Way\, Huyton\, Merseyside L36 9GD. DESCRIPTION:Please note: In August 2024\, we are relocating to our new site\, Make Hamilton 2! We’ll no longer be at Make Hamilton Square on Cleveland Street. Our new address is just around the corner at 69-71 Argyle St\, Birkenhead! \n— \nBirkenhop is back for 2024! \nIn partnership with Brimstage Brewery\, Make Hamilton Square Garden and Callister Garden have been busy growing hops again this year\, ready to be harvested and turned into this years batch of “Birkenhop” \n\n\n\n\nThe community hop harvest is great way to get to know your neighbours\, learn about hop growing and if you’d like to come along to the brewery after the harvest\, you are welcome to join for a tour . You might even get to try a sample of some of Brimstages best known beers! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou don’t need to bring anything along\, just yourself! \nFeel free to drop in any time between 9.30am- 12noon. The weighing of the hops happens around 12noon\, then we will head over to the brewery around 1pm (optional). \n*Transport to the brewery is not provided\, so you would need to make you own way there. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrequently asked questions\n\n\n\n\n\nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\n\n\n\n\nAny child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and we operate a no under 10 policy. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\n\n\n\n\nBy Train: Close to Hamilton Square station\, accessible from Liverpool and Wirral line stations. By Bus: Nearby stops include routes 41\, 216\, 217\, 409\, 410\, 411\, 413\, 414\, 423\, 811. Residents can enjoy a view across the River Mersey\, an open-access workshop equipped with tools and the delicious Caffe Riccardo. As well as experience in working on educational projects across the UK. \n\n\n\n\nW hat time does the tour start? \nThe tour around Make North Docks takes between 40 and 60 minutes. Each tour starts on the hour. If you need to get in touch on the day\, please call the office on 01516018665 \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nOn street parking is free but limited to 2 hours. Please let us know if you are a blue badge holder and we can reserve you a space in our small visitor car park. Public transport links are nearby\, and the venue is easily accessible on foot from Liverpool City Centre (see our website for more information\, we’re located at Make North Docks). \nHow accessible is the venue? \nThe workshop is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises including toilet provisions. However\, some parts of the tour may include stairs.
