There will also alcohol available at our bar. \n  \nCan I bring my dog along? \nWell behaved dogs allowed as long as they are on a lead. The owner must take full responsibility and pick up after your dog. Your furry pal must be supervised at all times and must not be deemed as dangerous.

DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy doodling and sketching and want the chance to do some life drawing in a friendly relaxed atmosphere\, then come and check out our monthly class! \nThe sessions take place in our beautiful\, cosy bar and include a cheese board and glass of wine. For those of you who are new to life drawing and maybe feeling a tad awkward or nervous\, having a complimentary glass of wine will help you get into your creative flow! \nThe cheeseboard will be served during the break so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is for anyone aged 16 or over\, whether you’re a regular at life drawing classes or you can barely hold a pencil\, everyone is welcome. This is an untaught session to come and practise. \nPlease bring whichever materials you feel comfortable working with\, from some charcoal to a biro\, a small sketch pad to A3 sheets of paper. There will be a limited amount of drawing boards and materials\, available on a first come first serve basis. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis session is a chilled out place to have a go if you haven’t drawn before and also a perfect opportunity for the more experienced artists to practise. \nYou are encouraged to come from 6:15pm to chat and find a place. There will be a 20 minute break in the middle to finish off the fromage and get your complimentary glass of wine. \nTo make our model feel as comfortable as possible we would ask you to follow standard life drawing etiquette and talk quietly. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFAQs \nAre there ID or minimum age requirements for this class? \nThe class is for people ages 16+. \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nOn street parking is free and unlimited. Public transport links are nearby\, and the venue is easily accessible on foot from Liverpool City Centre. \nHow accessible is the venue? \nThe workshop is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises including toilet provisions. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event. \nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? \nA register will be taken at the workshop\, it isn’t necessary to print your ticket. \nThe name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. After this date we can only offer a refund if your space is able to be filled. \nThis is because we pay our practitioners fair wages for their work- giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the preparation they have put into their classes.

DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy doodling and sketching and want the chance to do some life drawing in a friendly relaxed atmosphere\, then come and check out our monthly class at Make Hamilton Square. \nThe sessions take place in the beautiful\, cosy Nettle café and include a cheeseboard and glass of wine. For those of you who are new to life drawing and maybe feeling a tad awkward or nervous\, having a complimentary glass of wine will help! \nThe cheeseboard will be served during the break so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is for anyone aged 16 or over\, whether you’re a regular at life drawing classes or you can barely hold a pencil\, everyone is welcome. This is an untaught session to come and practise . \nPlease bring whichever materials you feel comfortable working with\, from some charcoal to a biro\, a small sketch pad to A3 sheets of paper. There will be a limited amount of drawing board and materials available on a first come first serve basis. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis session is a chilled out place to have a go if you haven’t drawn before and also a perfect opportunity for the more experienced artists to practise. \nYou are encouraged to come from 6:15pm to chat and find a place. Make Huyton brings a hive of creativity to the town centre with a high tech Innovation Lab\, allowing members of the community to experiment with making and product creation. Make Huyton Village is open 24 hours for all of our residents. \n\n\n\n\nMake Huyton Village Open Days \nInterested in a studio space or just curios about what Make do and how to get involved? Come along for a tour of our newest space Make Huyton Village. \nTours will last 40 to 60 minutes and and begin every hour on the hour (eg. 11:00\, 12:00\, 13:00 and 14:00) at the front of Make Huyton Village\, 47-49 Derby Road\, Huyton\, during open day hours (please check the open day hours for each date as they differ). \nHave a look at our range of studio spaces\, hear about our future plans\, check out our brand new “Innovation Lab” and find out about our upcoming programme. \nYour tour will conclude at Make on the Corner at 22 Derby Road\, our additional space used for events\, meetings\, workshops\, classes\, pop-up shop\, exhibitions\, etc. \nWhether you are a creative looking for a studio to work\, need a space to put an event or class on\, or whether you are just nosey – please register\, come along and join us! \nDogs and children are welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout your Guide \nYour guide on the open days will be Mia Tagg\, the Project Lead for Make Huyton Village. \nMake’s newest team member\, Mia has twenty years experience working in business start-up and project management in Liverpool and London\, focused on arts and hospitality. \nPrevious projects include the cafe bar at FACT\, Northern Lights for Baltic Creative and Homebaked Anfield. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere is the venue ? \nMake Huyton Village is situated at 47-49 Derby Road\, Huyton which is on the pedestrianised High Street in Huyton Village. The space was formally Boots. \nWhat time does the tour start? \nThe tour around Make Huyton Village takes between 40 and 60 minutes. Each tour starts on the hour (e.g. every 60 minutes). If you need to get in touch on the day\, please call or message Mia on 07492708827. \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \n\nBy Bike: There is secure bike storage at the venue.\nBy Train: The nearest train station to the venue is Huyton train station. The station is a 6 minute walk from the venue – You can view directions via google maps here.\nBy Bus: Huyton Bus station is situated a 3 minute walk from the venue. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly life drawing class at Make On The Corner and have fun doodling and sketching in a relaxed setting. Held at Make CIC’s cozy event space\, located right on the high street in Huyton Village\, sessions include a cheeseboard and complimentary glass of wine to help you feel at ease. \nOpen to anyone 16 and over\, regardless of experience level\, this untaught session welcomes both beginners and seasoned artists. \nBring your preferred materials\, from charcoal to biro\, and enjoy a chilled-out environment for practice. \nArrive at 5:45pm to chat and secure a spot\, with a 30-minute break halfway through. \nPlease observe standard life drawing etiquette to ensure a comfortable experience for our model. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event will be taking place at Make On The Corner\, Make CIC’s bespoke event and workshop space located in the heart of Huyton Village. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrequently asked questions\n\n\n\n\n\nAre there ID or minimum age requirements for this class?\n\n\n\n\nThe class is for people ages 16+. A none alcoholic beverage will be offered to those under 18 . \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\n\n\n\n\nThere is cycle storage available at the venue. Huyton Bus and Train stations are a short walk from the venue (3 – 7 minutes). Free parking (suspended parking) is available at Knowsley Council carparks at Lathom Road multi-storey car park\, Archway Road and Huyton Hey. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow accessible is the venue?\n\n\n\n\nThe venue is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises. Ground floor accessible toilet provisions are also available. \n\n\n\n\n\nI have dietary requirements – what should I do?\n\n\n\n\nPlease let us know of any dietary requirement when registering. We are able to supply vegan cheese and offer a gluten free option – however we are not an allergen free restaurant and cannot ensure that cross contamination will never occur. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if Make CIC cancel the event?\n\n\n\n\nThis event does have a minimum requirement of ticket sales to proceed. Refunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled – in this instance we will give as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates if appropriate. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I can no longer attend and need to cancel my ticket?\n\n\n\n\nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop. Please note: Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhy is the Refund/ Transfer Policy 7 days?\n\n\n\n\nThis is because we pay our practitioners\, staff and life models fair wages for their work. Giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the preparation they have put into their classes.

DESCRIPTION:Please note: In August 2024\, we are relocating to our new site\, Make Hamilton 2! We’ll no longer be at Make Hamilton Square on Cleveland Street. Our new address is just around the corner at 69-71 Argyle St\, Birkenhead! \n— \nBirkenhop is back for 2024! \nIn partnership with Brimstage Brewery\, Make Hamilton Square Garden and Callister Garden have been busy growing hops again this year\, ready to be harvested and turned into this years batch of “Birkenhop” \n\n\n\n\nThe community hop harvest is great way to get to know your neighbours\, learn about hop growing and if you’d like to come along to the brewery after the harvest\, you are welcome to join for a tour . You might even get to try a sample of some of Brimstages best known beers! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou don’t need to bring anything along\, just yourself! \nFeel free to drop in any time between 9.30am- 12noon.
