DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy doodling and sketching and want the chance to do some life drawing in a friendly relaxed atmosphere\, then come and check out our monthly class! \n  \n  \nThe sessions take place in our beautiful\, cosy bar and include a cheese board and glass of wine. For those of you who are new to life drawing and maybe feeling a tad awkward or nervous\, having a complimentary glass of wine will help you get into your creative flow! \n  \n  \nThe cheeseboard will be served during the break so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is for anyone aged 16 or over\, whether you’re a regular at life drawing classes or you can barely hold a pencil\, everyone is welcome. This is an untaught session to come and practise. \n  \n  \nPlease bring whichever materials you feel comfortable working with\, from some charcoal to a biro\, a small sketch pad to A3 sheets of paper. There will be a limited amount of drawing boards and materials\, available on a first come first serve basis. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis session is a chilled out place to have a go if you haven’t drawn before and also a perfect opportunity for the more experienced artists to practise. \nYou are encouraged to come from 6:15pm to chat and find a place. SUMMARY:Winter Wellness Workshop for Kids: All Things Trees
DESCRIPTION:In this 3-hour creative workshop the theme will be trees! \nWe will explore a range of creative activities linked to trees including decorating wood cookies and making them into necklaces and creating woolly apples to make into a tree branch mobile. \nChildren will also be guided through a creative expression exercise\, ‘the tree of life’ with drawing and movement. \n​A complimentary lunch will be provided after the session for all children who attend\, plus snacks and drinks throughout. Accompanying adults will get hot drinks and biscuits provided. DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\n\n\n\nIf you enjoy doodling and sketching and want the chance to do some life drawing in a friendly relaxed atmosphere\, then come and check out our monthly class! \nThe sessions take place in our beautiful\, cosy bar and include a cheese board and glass of wine. For those of you who are new to life drawing and maybe feeling a tad awkward or nervous\, having a complimentary glass of wine will help you get into your creative flow! \nThe cheeseboard will be served during the break so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is for anyone aged 16 or over\, whether you’re a regular at life drawing classes or you can barely hold a pencil\, everyone is welcome. This is an untaught session to come and practise. \nPlease bring whichever materials you feel comfortable working with\, from some charcoal to a biro\, a small sketch pad to A3 sheets of paper. DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop is facilitated by Bethan \, the founder of Buy by Bethan – you can check her out her wonderful creations here \nJoin Bethan at Make North Docks to learn a variety of techniques to give a new lease of life to your old items of clothing! \nThe workshop will include: \n– painting \n– drawing and writing on your clothes to give them a whole new look. \n– various techniques and methods for up cycling a garment – without sewing! \n– cutting \n– adding embellishments such as pins\, diamonds \n– distressing fabric \nPlease ensure you bring a clean item of clothing along\, this could be a blazer\, a leather jacket\, a denim jacket or some jeans. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect: \nThe session will begin with a show and tell element for an item Bethan has reworked\, along with a sketching session for you to get your ideas on to paper about how you would like your garment to look. \nThere will be a short teaching section where the variety of techniques that can be used will be showcased on a ‘template’ garment. \nYou will then be free to unleash your creativity and upcycle your garment using the tools provided – Bethan will be around to help with any questions or hands on advice needed. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFAQs \n  \nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? \nAny child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and we operate a no under 10 policy. \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nOn street parking is free but limited to 2 hours so vehicle drivers will either need a permit for street parking or we have limited parking spaces on site.
