We’re seeking to appoint a Regeneration Innovation Co-ordinator to join our team and help Make CIC deliver programmes across the City Region.
Who are Make CIC?
Make CIC is a place-based Community Interest Company at the forefront of innovative regeneration approaches. We believe in putting people, culture, and creativity at the heart of everything we do when we collaborate with national and local partners, including Power to Change, the Leftback Collective, and various Local and Combined Authorities, to deliver impactful programmes that breathe new life into neighbourhoods, town-centres, highstreets, and homes.
The Role: Regeneration Innovation Co-ordinator
As a co-ordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in our regeneration initiatives, supporting our partnerships, and delivering programmes that make a real difference. This is a chance to lead on exciting projects across the region, doing things differently. You will initially focus on three key workstreams:
- Community Highstreet Project (Birkenhead): Be part of a ground-breaking initiative that empowers and supports local communities to revitalise high streets.
- Make Spaces Pilot Programme: Contribute to the development and implementation of an emerging pilot that unlocks spaces for the community and socially trading organisations.
- Make CIC’s strategic Development Projects:
- Common Ground Housing Project (Birkenhead): Help shape an innovative housing solution that is focused on creative solutions for the community and sustainable living.
- Liverpool’s Cultural Workshop: Support the planning and regeneration of our cultural hub and maker space in Ten Streets.
- The Ranch Reimagined: Support the planning and regeneration of a community hub in Huyton Village.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- A strong communicator and collaborator.
- Passionate about community-led regeneration.
- Creative and innovative in their approach.
- No experience required, but experience or knowledge of regeneration will help.
Terms and conditions:
- This is an 18 month fixed-term contract funded by our partners.
- Continuation of the role is dependent on securing further funding.
Case study guidance:
- Write about “how creativity can have an impact on regeneration” to demonstrate your understanding of the subject.
- You can use AI to support you to write and format a good case study – this is a common way we work at Make CIC.
The case study is not a test of your ability to write good copy – focus on the subject, include conclusions, and insight.
