Autumn is settling in, and what better way to celebrate the season than by diving into some exciting new classes at the Innovation Lab at Make Huyton Village and Make on the Corner!
Innovation Lab at Make Huyton Village
Get hands-on this season with creative courses designed to build your tech skills. At the Innovation Lab, you’ll be guided by experienced instructors who are passionate about passing on their craft. Some highlights include:
- Introduction to Laser Cutting (November 6th) – Perfect for those wanting to explore this versatile technology. In this class you will design and make a 3D seasonal scene using a laser cutter – making the perfect gift for the person who has everything, or an atmospheric decoration for yourself!
- Introduction to 3D Printing: Keyring Making (November 17th) – Bring your ideas to life with this engaging session on 3D printing. Perfect for beginners, this class covers the basics and leaves you with a personalised keyring to keep or gift.
Classes at Make on the Corner
At Make on the Corner we have lined up some exciting seasonal workshops that will inspire creativity during cosy autumn evenings:
- Haunted Doll Makeover (16th & 19th October)– One of the highlights of the season! This spooky workshop offers a fun twist for Halloween lovers. Give an old doll a creepy new look, making it the perfect Halloween decoration or gift for a horror fan. Run by Make Huyton Village Residents Pyromancy Productions.
- Watercolour Christmas Cards (November 19th) – Prepare for the festive season by creating beautiful hand-painted cards that are sure to impress your loved ones. Learn from Artist and Make Huyton resident Oliva McIntosh.
- Natural Wreath Making (7th December) – Join us for a delightful and educational workshop where you’ll create a stunning festive wreath using a diverse selection of plant materials.
