THANK YOU, to every person who donated, shared, and talked about our campaign to help us build Make Liverpool’s open-access metal workshop. Every one of these donations, large and small, will help us create a space for makers, artists, and hobbyists to try something new, become more self-reliant, and maintain their skills. We are so grateful that you decided to become part of our cause, and helped us reach 52% of our goal!
£5,224 lands us between our two goals of £3,000 and £7,000–meaning that we have enough money to make our welding studio safe, buy our first machines, and even get some of the machines listed in the £7,000 column (see image below)!
Throughout our campaign we have been running a “Referral Competition” to see who could refer the most people to our campaign. We said we would name our metal workshop after that person, and that person is… (drumroll please…) Andrew Beattie!!! Congratulations and THANK YOU!!!
