Make CIC Appoints New Board Member

Make CIC has successfully appointed a new board member to support the organisation as it grows its reach and impact across the city region. Gavin Thomas joins as a voluntary co-opted member to support the team with property matters over the next 18 months.
Gavin said “I am firmly of the opinion that there are increased opportunities for local and creative organisations such as Make in a rapidly evolving economy and property market, especially with an increased focus from companies, the public sector and communities on the local pound, social value, sustainability and ESG as a whole.” Adding “Organisations, such as Make, can help to provide a catalyst for the regeneration and rejuvenation of local areas and communities, as has been evidenced in the Baltic Triangle, Ten Streets and the Fabric District in Liverpool over the past decade, and is also starting to be seen in other areas of the Liverpool City Region such as Birkenhead and Prescot.”
Gavin is a Senior Director within the CBRE National Valuation Advisory team and has worked in the Liverpool and North West property market for more than 16 years.
The team at Make are extremely grateful to have Gavin as part of the board who will help guide the organisation over the coming months as Make undertakes significant growth and change.
