Make CIC appoints new Enterprise Manager

We’re excited to reveal our new Enterprise Manager, welcome to the team AJ!
This new role will be to lead on all things enterprise and business support at Make CIC and to be the first point of contact for our residents and community. Our organisation’s mission is to help people turn their passions into prosperity and support people to gain the skills needed to start and grow their business. We’ve appointed AJ in this new role in order to help achieve these goals.
The main avenue at Make for enterprise and business support is the Enterprise Hub Skills programme, funded by the European Social Fund. The Enterprise Hub Skills programme helps to match members of the community with entrepreneurial opportunities, business support, and skills development.
So far, Make CIC has helped just over 60 individuals, makers, and business owners with a variety of support and opportunities, and aims to help another 70 over the next 2 years.
AJ is now the first point of contact for anyone in the Make CIC community who is looking to access support, advice and opportunities.
AJ said, “Make CIC is made up of so many innovative makers, creatives, SME’s, Social enterprises and hobbyists – all who have such a passion for what they do. I can’t wait to be amongst that creativity and to help the community grow and prosper.”
Make’s new Enterprise Manager has a wealth of experience in the creative and digital sector, having worked at Liverpool Biennial in various roles, Baltic Creative CIC in Marketing and Events and then The Women’s Organisation in Client Relationships and Engagement. AJ also has a number of voluntary roles, including as a Director of the Baltic Triangle Area CIC and as a community compost champion… very on brand for Make!
