Join us for inspiring creative enterprise workshops this September and October 2023 at Make Hamilton Square in Birkenhead. These workshops are designed to enhance your creative thinking and equip you with tools for success in the competitive world of creative enterprises.
These workshops are delivered by Becka Griffin from Make and Flourish. Becka is a professionally-trained graphic artist who has been selling illustrations since 2009. Based in South Liverpool, Becka is an experienced online seller with over 100,000 sales across various platforms. She also regularly sells at local in-person events, and is Captain of the Merseyside Etsy Team.

- Boost Your Stallholder Skills – Wednesday 27th September, 10:30am – 12noon at Make Hamilton Square: Calling all artisans and crafters! This workshop is tailor-made to up your craft fair and stallholder game. Discover the art of showing off your creations, connecting with customers, and leaving a lasting impression. We’ll dive into booth/table design, customer interaction, and creating memorable experiences for your customers.
- Selling Art and Craft Online – Wednesday 4th October, 10:30am – 12noon at Make Hamilton Square: The digital world is a treasure trove for artists and crafters to share and sell their work. In this workshop, led by Becka, we’ll guide you through the basics of getting noticed online and making your art and craft listings shine. Learn the ins and outs of online selling and start your creative journey on the web.
- Pricing Your Handmade Products – Wednesday 11th October, 10:30am – 12noon at Make Hamilton Square: Figuring out the right price for your online goodies can be puzzling. Join us as we break down pricing strategies, figuring out the worth of your work, and understanding what makes your buyers tick. Whether you’re a pro online seller or just starting, this workshop will assist you in setting prices for your products or services confidently.
After each workshop, attendees will be given an opportunity to tour Make Hamilton Square and see behinds the scenes where our creative community lives. Nettle, the café based on site, will be open throughout the day serving sustainably sourced hot drinks, delicious cakes and a brand new lunch menu – catering for all dietary requirements.

About Eligibility:
These workshops are free to attend and are open to individuals living in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, St Helens, or Halton) only.
In order to access this support for free, all attendees are required to complete a registration pack prior to the workshop. It’s really straightforward and Make CIC’s Enterprise Manager, Alison James (AJ), will be in contact with you prior to the session to complete the process.
