As we dive into 2024, AJ’s journey at Make has taken some exciting new turns. Initially stepping into her role as Enterprise Manager, AJ delivered and managed the Enterprise Hub Skills program, a project funded by Europe to offer essential business support to our community of artists and makers here at Make CIC and beyond.
After successfully delivering this programme, which came to an end in January 2024, AJ finds herself at an exciting turning point. But you know what they say – when one door closes, another one opens!
Under the guidance of Rosie, Head of Programme currently on maternity leave and set to return in January 2025, AJ has now transitioned into the role of Programme Manager – diving headfirst into overseeing Make’s lively classes and educational initiatives.
But AJ’s journey doesn’t stop there. In an exciting development, she has also been appointed to the Creative and Digital Cluster Board as part of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s new cluster boards, including one for Creative and Digital, show commitment to economic growth. Led by industry leaders, they aim to shape policy, boost productivity, and ensure inclusive, sustainable growth. These boards report to the Business and Enterprise Board, driving the region’s economic agenda.
Make now holds a seat at these crucial discussions, thanks to AJ’s active involvement, ensuring the voice of the maker community is heard in shaping the future of our region’s economic landscape.
