After two and a half incredible years, we are bidding a fond farewell to our Chair of the Board, Rafael Willisch.
During his tenure, Rafa has provided steadfast guidance and remarkable leadership. He steered us through challenging financial landscapes, guided us through a building purchase, and helped the team make countless integral decisions that have strengthened our organisation.
The entire team at Make is deeply grateful for his dedication, wisdom, and support, and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours!
A Message From Rafa
“After a rewarding term, my time as Chair of Make is coming to an end. It’s been a privilege to be part of such an extraordinary team — one that plays a vital role in helping local small enterprises flourish across Merseyside. I’m grateful for the experience and proud of what we’ve achieved together. Make will soon be looking for the next Chair to carry this work forward. If you’re interested in joining this fantastic team, please get in touch.”
Looking Ahead: Could You Be Our Next Chair?
As Rafa’s chapter with us draws to a close, Make is entering an exciting new phase of change and evolution. We are now on the lookout for a new Chair of the Board to help lead us through this next stage.
We are looking for someone with rich experience in community-led organisations to help steer our vision, particularly as we explore transitioning into an exempt charity and adopting a more co-operative model.
If you are passionate about supporting local enterprise and leading a vibrant community asset into its next chapter, we would love to hear from you.
