We are looking for a dynamic person to join the Make CIC team as the Community & Project Co-Ordinator based in Make Huyton, Knowsley. This role is to be the driving force behind Make’s mission to help people turn their passion into prosperity in Knowsley. The will be a dual-focused role acting as the Community Co-Ordinator of Make Huyton, and as the Project Co-Ordinator for an arts council funded young persons participation programme, called This Place, This Stage.
About the Role
As the Community Co-Ordinator, you will manage and nurture our creative communities, ensuring our buildings are welcoming, well-managed, and safe. You will help build a community in Make Huyton and create a space where people aspire to join in.
As the Project Co-Ordinator, you will help deliver the young person focused This Place, This Stage project funded by Arts Council England. The role will work directly with a group of young people over three years in partnership with other organisations within the project. The role will enable young people access to space and resources across Knowsley, but principally in Huyton.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is a natural at building relationships and is passionate about supporting grassroots creativity. You should be organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and have problem-solving skills. You will be comfortable working independently some of the time and as part of the wider Make CIC team. This role must be comfortable working with young people under the age of 25 and be enthusiastic about supporting people in the creative journey.
